Let's go to Lukeville Arizona with Pedro and Manny and the Boys.......

Aorta......  Interstate...   4 seam fastball...  Rapids on'a raft...  the Jamaican Bobsledders......

Meet George Jetson, his boy Elroy..   Freddie Flintstone's feet...  Gentlemen, start your engines.

In s'more other words, Zooooooooooooooooooooom....

Lukeville, Arizona has a POE, which, Google learnt us the other day is a Port Of Entry to/from the US, to/from Mehico.  Lukeville serves as the fastest way to the closest beach (Rocky Point, Puerto Penasco) for both Phoenix and Tucson residents.  Folks come from allover.. but in Phoenix and Tucson, the kinda travel might be a Friday morning call to a buddy, "Hey, wanna go to Penasco this weekend?"  And they do, by the kajillions.

Or, they usedta.

For whatever speculative, conspired, truthful reason, the US closed the POE in Lukeville a month ago.

Victor, there ain't any of your friends real close to here, who gives a dadgum?  Eh, I dunno.  Mebbe it beats reading about Donald, Hunter..  Epstein lists... wide receivers who can't receive.. sitting back, imagining a Taylor/Travis prenup..  I spose there are bored folks allover.

OK then.  What does closing Lukeville mean? It means disaster for residents, hotels, restaurants, bars, vendors who peddle virtually any, everything you can peddle...  Now, the alternative is driving way the hell West to enter somewhere around Yuma (that's justabout to Cali) or, mebbe spinning thru Nogales (hella longer drive) to dodge the perceived bullets of the cartel. Ain't a lotta truth to that one, but, as one drives thru, ya keep your eyeballs peeled just as you keep your ears keen for rattlers back in AZ.

ONE WHOLE MONTH of "Biden did it."  "Nope, nuttin' to do with him." Homer mighta said "THE BOY DID IT!"...

Reservations cancelled like crazy.  Hours to joints cut back dramatically.  Folks, sadly, laid off.  Peddlers left with no one to peddle to.  A sad day in Mudville (PP), the mighty POE struck out (ie, closed.)

"Congress back, but, they'll spenda month on nominations,... then, arguing the budget... hell, Spring Training could be over by the time they get to the Lukeville POE."

Here he comes to save the day........  Remember ole Mighty Mouse?  Well, no one knows who, how, when it was decided, but, Lukeville reopened yesterday.  Hail, hail, the Pesos are here...   There is joy in Mudville... Casey swung, homered.  Fastballs flew..  Interstates filled up..  the bobsledders bobbed, swooshed, fast..  Freddie's feet zoomed thru the sand...

Señores, enciendan sus motores, translated, Gentlemen, start your engines.

Ring, ring... Hey, I cancelled a bit back, we're coming now..  Table for 8 please..  Well sure, I'd like to buy that pretty bracelet right there for my honey.  Gimme somea that asparagus please, and ten'a them 'maters.

If you open it, they will come.

Let's go thru Lukeville, Arizona
With Pedro and Manny and the boys
This life up North we're livin's got us feudin'
Like the Hatfield and McCoys
Between Hank Williams' pain songs
And Jerry Jeff's train songs and Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain
Out in Lukeville Arizona there ain't nobody feelin' no pain.

Now anyways.

"Storms make trees grow deeper roots."  Dolly Parton

"Good luck has it's storms."  George Lucas

Every storm runs outta rain, just like every dark night turns into day.

After every storm the sun will smile; for every problem there is a solution, and the soul's indefeasible duty is to be of good cheer.

Ese es el camino, uh huh uh huh me gusta (That's the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it.)

Pet a dog, hug a friend, smile a little smile.. celebrate, celebrate, dance to the Mariachi's,....

Con amor, Victurd
